A photo of my exam piece for GCSE.
It was based on Belatriz Milhaze's work :] (which I adore <3) and also a series of pictures I did
I was pretty pleased with this. I used basically every medium availble in the art room for this piece : D It was fun and experimental.
I'm sorry for the awful photograph, it dulled the colours somewhat and the angle is funny D< But you get the idea.
Enjoy.
((I got an A* for my GCSE art - just goes to show you even people without much artistic flair can get good grades in GCSE xD - But, nevertheless, I'm still pleased with my artwork.))

someone who did GCSE at the same school as me - whos now at the same college as me but on the general design corse while Im on graphic design. she makes gorgeous brightly coloured pieces like this.
theres one she did for her typeography lesson ... and its sooooo good my teacher put it up in my tutor room. and its full of circles like in this piece. I just sat there most of today like "@____@ so much pacience Id never be able to cut all those circles out."
thing is ... some people have a real eye for picking things/colours out and sticking them together ... if I attempted anything like this ....... it would come out crap.
Thank you so much. I love it when I get proper, long comments like this :]
Apprantly I'm getting an A or higher in art, I'm so pleased! Especially as I don't feel I have a real natural talent in art - at least, compared to some of the kids my age (you included in that!) on here who have such a dedication and style to their artwork.
And it's true, every piece I do is full of rainbows and colours xD I just can't help it.
It's the same for the way I dress - I literally can not go out wearing something with less than 3 colours in, haha! I get depressed if I do D:
Anyway, thank you again for the comment and favourite, I really appreciate it!
I scrapped a B in my GCSE ...... and Im likely to come out with a C for my AS ........ I didnt get on with my art teacher in secondary school ...... plus the people who got B/A in my school where ones that did what they where taught to do - TRACE FROM A OHP .....
¬¬ cause theres lots of skill in tracing from a photocopier.
but yeah ...... Im not gonna rant about that ....... you dont wanna hear it. I get on with my art teacher at college now so things are ok.
XD weird .... cause Ive been making collages all day ........ and the colour schemes are wacked .............. Im terible at picking out this kinda thing - like I said before ...... some people have an eye.
I dont have any natural talent ...... its pretty depressing really ......... I have to try really hard to be good at anything.
